Kent’s Kanines Newsletter New Year’s 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to the Kent's Kanines Newsletter! There is so much to tell you!

I started the year with a salute to my wonderful and reliable Volvo, "Sven"! As of January 1, 2016, I have tallied 391,000 This year was a special one for me. 2013 marked 20 years in San Francisco. I arrived in 1993 and believe it or not, have been home grooming the entire time each and every day! People always ask me if this is my full-time job with this incredulous look on their faces. Yes, this is my full-time job and after 25 years total, I, too, am amazed that I am still grooming and enjoying every day making sure all my clients " Look Marvelous "! A big thank you to each and every one of you.

There is some sad news though. My dear Niblet, the most handsome, adorable, unique and smart black and tan Pomeranian died on September 29, 2013. He was the mascot extraordinaire for Kent's Kanines. He had a collapsed trachea as well as chronic liver disease for 3.5 years. He was a brave and courageous soul. I can't tell you how much I miss his jubilant and joyful disposition, his amazing show prance while walking on a lead, his ability to always make me smile, I could go on and on. He was such a special dog. He was the star in two videos, Welcome Video, and Makeover Madness. What a head-turner! As impossible as it might seem, 5 weeks later, Nellie, my Norwich Terrier unexpectedly died from a very rare cancer. Heliotropic Cutaneous Lymphoma. She would have been 15. She died on November 5, 2013. She was a loyal, loving, fabulous natured little Terrier. I adored her!!!!!!!!

So, it is for these two reasons that I did not do my annual Kent's Kanines Christmas card. I was sad and melancholy and thought I would wait until 2014 to create another masterpiece. Thank you for all your inquiries about the card and your understanding. Please see Christmas Card 2012 and Christmas Card Collection blog posts.
